“The great artist is the one who dares to be himself”
Autumn is that season when nature gently enters a phase of transformation. The colours grow warmer, the shadows lengthen, and the landscape changes its pace. For the artist, it is a privileged period, where inspiration seems to come naturally, carried by the rust, gold, and purple hues that fill the horizon. Watercolour, with its lightness and fluidity, is undoubtedly the ideal medium for capturing the essence of these moments. Every brushstroke can express the delicacy of a falling leaf, every shade of colour can convey the soft light of an October afternoon. It is a technique that, by its nature, demands a certain sensitivity, an ability to seize the moment before it fades away. As Vincent van Gogh wrote to his brother Theo: “The great artist is the one who dares to be himself.” Autumn is a season when it is important to follow this path, to explore one’s own view of the world, to translate one’s emotions into shapes and colours. Each artwork is a unique interpretation, a window into the artist’s inner world.
